Mission Statement

At the WillaSTRONG Foundation, our mission is to support children and families affected by brain cancer and other complex conditions affecting the brain and spine, at every stage of their journey. Whether at diagnosis, during treatment, throughout recovery, or in grief and remembrance, we are committed to ensuring families feel supported.

Inspired by our daughter Willa's courageous seven-year battle with brain cancer, we experienced firsthand the emotional, physical, and financial challenges families face when confronted with an unimaginable diagnosis. Our goal is to help ease those burdens by providing support such as medical and accessibility equipment, home modifications, financial assistance for mental health resources, and opportunities that help children experience joy, inclusion, independence, and an improved quality of life.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to be a child, to be seen beyond their diagnosis, and to experience meaningful moments of happiness despite the challenges caused by cancer, surgeries, and complex medical conditions. Through compassion, advocacy, and community support, we strive to bridge the gaps in care and ensure that no family walks this journey alone.
